BDVA Strategic Agenda 2024

BDVA’s 2024 agenda is a practical playbook to scale European data-driven ecosystems: federated data spaces, interoperability by design, a secure computing continuum, and green data/AI operations, framed by compliance and ethics. It connects policy, standards, infrastructures (DSSC/SIMPL, EuroHPC/AI Factories, EDIHs/TEFs), and community tooling (i-Spaces, TFs) to move from pilots to sustainable value chains. 

For OPENVERSE, BDVA is the data & trust spine: a venue to codify virtual-asset data products, federate cross-sector data spaces for virtual-world use cases, and operationalise compliance-by-design (AI Act/Data Act) with PETs and provenance/watermarking. Priority actions: launch the OPENVERSE×BDVA federation WG, prototype inter-data-space pilots (media/culture↔tourism↔cities), and feed green metrics & identity into DSSC/standardisation pipelines.
